Grant Criteria For 2008 - 2009, the Christian Help Committee will make contributions using the following criteria: - Our grant will make a difference for the organization or program.
- Our grant will fund a direct service organization only.
- Approximately 1/3 of Plymouth’s grant money will be used for organizations that serve youth in Brooklyn.
- Preference will be given to faith-based organizations.
- Preference will be given to organizations where Plymouth members are involved or which provide opportunities for Plymouth volunteers.
Grant Process
Grant Request forms from members and proposals directly from organizations are due in the beginning of the year on January 15th for review and evaluation by the Christian Help Committee. Typically, the grants are distributed by June 30, fiscal year-end for the church.
