Plymouth's popular Vacation Bible Camp takes place this summer for five days beginning Monday, August 18th. Specially designed for children age 2 through those entering 7th grade, VBC is a wonderful opportunity to learn about the Bible in a fun and joyous way. Campers share a week filled with hands-on learning and active play, while developing a sense of their own spirituality and the Christian values that enhance social and emotional growth. The curriculum this year, "Jerusalem Marketplace," immerses learners in the culture of biblical times, allowing children to explore what it might have been like to live when Jesus did. Camp begins at 9:00 a.m., with varying dismissal times based on the camper's age. Children ages 3 through 4 are dismissed at 12:00 noon, but are welcome to participate in afternoon play activities if a parent or caregiver provides supervision. Children ages 5 and up will be dismissed at 2:45. The 2-year-old children of "Nearly Camp" will attend from 9:00 to 10:45 with a parent or caregiver. Enrollment is limited. Those interested in learning more about Vacation Bible Camp are encouraged to contact Julia Rassmann, Director of the Ministry to Children and Families.
